Those with a strong interest in video production or a love for entertainment are highly welcome!
Rest assured, expeirienced staff conducting similar tasks will review your work, so even those with limited knowledge of video production or animation need not worry.
【Job Description】
・Translation of scripts and storyboards
・Video translation, subtitle translation
・Translation of written materials and technical documentation
*Depending on your preferences, there may be requests for interpretation work as well.
*We will consult with you on project opportunities on an ongoing basis.
【Required】
・Work experience in translation (Approximately 3 years)
* Ability to translate both from Japanese to English and from English to Japanese
・English proficiency (TOEIC score of 900 or above, or native level)
・Japanese proficiency ( JLPT N1 level or above, or native level)
・MS Office proficiency
【Suggested】
・Experience in interpretation
・Interest in video, animation (experienced people are welcome! )
* Knowledge of CG-related tools and translation support tools is desirable
・Native-level English proficiency
・Ability to handle languages other than Japanese and English
【Work Location】
・Head Office (Minato-ku, Tokyo)
・Hybrid working: a mix of on-site and home-based work, with flexibility depending on business and operational needs.
※For remote work, you are responsible for your home working environment (e.g., a wired internet connection and a suitable PC).
・Fully remote arrangements from outside commuting distance may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

・This is a freelance (independent contract-based) agreement.
・Recruitment is ongoing.
・During the selection process, you will undergo a brief translation test.
(Depending on your preference, you may be asked to take consecutive interpretation or simultaneous interpretation tests.)

・Workshop, seminar, and web conference interpretation
・Accompanying and conference interpretation at client sites
・Communication support between internal foreign staff and overseas business partners and domestic staff
・Interpretation audio recording tasks
*Depending on your preferences, there may be requests for translation work as well.

【Required】
・Work experience in consecutive interpretation (Approximately 3 years)
* Ability to interpret both from Japanese to English and from English to Japanese
・English proficiency (TOEIC score of 900 or above, or native level)
・Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 level or above, or native level)
【Suggested】
・Experience in simultaneous interpretation or whispering interpretation
・Experience in remote interpretation
・Proficiency in Zoom operation
・Interest in video, animation (experienced people are welcome! )
* Knowledge of CG-related tools is desirable
・Ability to handle languages other than Japanese and English
