Effect Supervisor

【Job Description】
・Production of effects for 3DCG animation and related management tasks
・Management duties include:
 - Proposing effect direction that suits the project
 - Investigating techniques
 - Proposing execution plans and consensus building
 - Giving instructions to team members
 - Interaction with other departments and outsourcing companies
 - Quality control of deliverables

【Application Used】
・Houdini, Maya, Nuke, Shotgun, and other in-house tools

【Required】
・Experience in creating effects for 3DCG animation using the DCC tools listed above
・Understanding of workflow and pipeline construction related to effects production
・Ability to tackle challenging tasks with a positive attitude
・Ability to communicate smoothly with related parties (must be able to communicate in Japanese or English)

【Suggested】
・Experience in creating effects in a variety of styles, from realistic to stylized
・Experience working as a supervisor or lead
・Experience developing tools using Python, etc.

 【Work Location】

・Head Office (Minato-ku, Tokyo)

・Hybrid working: a mix of on-site and home-based work, with flexibility depending on business and operational needs.

Technical Artist

【Job Description】
・Production of effects for 3DCG animation
 - Creating effect materials such as explosions and water, and work up to temporary compositing using DCC tools and in-house tools
 - Passing on created data to those in charge of the following phase using in-house tools

【Application Used】
・Houdini, Maya, Nuke, and other in-house tools

【Required】
・Experience in creating effects using Houdini
・Ability to perform basic operations on MAYA and Nuke
・Able to work on challenging projects with a positive attitude
・Able to communicate smoothly with related parties (must be able to communicate in Japanese or English)

【Suggested】
・Experience in creating effects in a variety of styles, from realistic to stylized
・Experience leading a team
・Experience in 3DCG animation production process other than effects
・Experience developing tools using Python, etc.

 -Adding movement to clothing, hair, etc. through dynamics simulation using DCC tools and in-house tools

【Application Used】
・Maya, Houdini, and other in-house tools

【Required】
・Ability to use Maya or Houdini from setting up character effects to running simulations
・Ability to tackle challenging tasks with a positive attitude
・Ability to communicate smoothly with related parties (must be able to communicate in Japanese or English)

【Suggested】
・Understanding of workflow and pipeline construction related to character effects production
・Experience in 3DCG animation production process other than character effects
・Experience developing tools using Python and/or MEL, etc.
